Melody Porter

Melody Porter as a young girl dreamed of becoming a writer someday. In her preteen and teenage years, she wrote small plays for her own enjoyment. Unfortunately, being from a small town in South Carolina her dreams were put on the back burner, with marriage and motherhood. In December 2008 she along with a friend of hers was listening to a radio personality, Michael Baisden. Mr. Baisden was doing a segment about living your dream. The two friends began discussing their dreams. Her friend Diane mentioned she wanted to own a bed and breakfast. Melody told her how she always wanted to be a writer and she had actually written a short story to submit to a romance magazine while in college.
Diane asked about the story and once hearing the synopsis wanted to hear more asking Melody to re-write the short story. Once Melody began the story it took on a life of its own becoming a small novel Joshua’s Closet.

My Dreams Are in Color has been released on Amazon as a paperback and Kindle. I would like to know what you think.
